MadeinAsia Belgium, Anime Convention 7

MadeinAsia Belgium Exposition in Brussels held at Brussels Expo Palais du Heysel, from 14th (Saturday) to 15th (Sunday) of March 2015.

There were a lot of events that are very surprising and unbelievable number of people went. Like almost 1,000 or more. The venue hall crowded and It was so difficult to move.

People were dress in their own styles like “Anime” costumes and others were not. I went there for my second time. The last time was the year 2013 I did enjoy a lot and decided to go for another try this year.
So here I went to see for myself if there’s something new to look forward especially in terms of Cosplay display and Concerts and Activities.

Here are my pics that I have collected, solicited by generous people who are willing to pose and expose their faces and talents to others.
Even though it was tough to get attention of these guys to pose for a picture. But it was all worth it. Enjoy with this pics!

Happenings in MadeinAsia Belgium Event

The place indeed was full of people. At first, I thought that MadeinAsia Belgium would be visited by mostly kids and teens. But I’m surprised to see many men around. Who would actually think that this event would have more guys visitors than teens or adolescents right?
group photos
While roaming around the area, I saw this Japanese Cosplayer group posing for a picture. So I grab the opportunity to take the photos as well, as  you know this is my first every MadeinAsia Belgium event.
Honestly speaking I’m terrified at first cause I don’t have any friends here and I don’t know their culture yet. I’m a bit vigilant I would say, I don’t want to offend others because of my actions.

On the other side of the Venue, there is this karaoke place where people do sing their favorite anime songs. There were also some cosplayers playing around. It was really fun to see them.

I guess my favorite part is my meet with Ryuk (one of my favorite Anime Series) I never expected to see that well-made cosplay. He was perfect for his character in life.

Later on, I had some courage to ask cosplayers to pose for me and take the pictures. I was nervous at the beginning but in the end, I manage to be calm and positive.

I always say thank you to the cosplayers after my shots. Though my camera was just a Lumix Digital Camera that time, at least I’m proud of my works.

It was a fun and cool thing to do when you have time. As for novice like me attending this Anime Convention, I’m very lucky to see those adorable cosplayers sharing their works with the public.

One sure thing is? I will absolutely come back for another year and support those cosplayers!
