The Unboxing

As expected, JORD continues to astound me with their fast shipping. I have received the package in less than 3 weeks. It was pretty quick for international shipping from the USA to Belgium.

My hubby was really pleased to unbox the parcel. I could see the big smile in his face. It is his very first uniques timepieces from JORD. What a wonderful moment! This only proves that JORD wooden watches are ones that stand out as an ideal gift to give.

DOVER – Ebony & Rosewood

From all other excellent choices of men’s eye-catching collection of unique timepieces. The one that I chose was the DOVER Ebony & Rosewood model.

This Dover, made out of two distinctive wood. The Ebony wood which is from East Africa (Mozambique), with a high saturation of color and a naturally glistening sheen. Its grain is typically straight or sometimes irregular, with a delicate uniform texture.

Rosewood or Brazilian Rosewood on the other hand, from Brazil, and has variations in color from a darker chocolate brown to a lighter purplish or reddish brown, with darker contrasting streaks.

Its grain has a uniform, medium to coarse texture with medium-sized open pores.

DOVER – Ebony & Rosewood is a Self-Winding Automatic Mechanical meaning it’s an automatic watch and doesn’t require a battery. It features the movement: SEA-GULL TY2807 which has a power reserve of 36 hours.

Its frequency; 21,600 BPH (beats per hour) and an accuracy of +/- 3 seconds per day.

One of the most amazing parts is that this Dover has a Sapphire glass watch crystal. Amazing right? Since Sapphire is the second hardest and most scratch resistant materials on earth. Having it in a watch makes it more efficient and luxurious at the same time.
