Our goal is to work remotely, cross off bucket list items, help other travelers and eventually find our new home! Through blogging, I hope to help other travelers with itinerary planning, packing essentials, as well as how to stay fit on the road.

How did I get the nomination?

As you can see I have mentioned two different bloggers who chose be to be one of their nominees. Yes I’m nominated not just once but twice.

Being part of different cool and awesome groups of bloggers gave me a great chance to show my passion on blogging. The road is tough. Yes it is! but despite of all I’ve acquired a bunch of useful information and learned couple of things to remember thanks to my group.

What is the Blogger Recognition Award?

The Blogger Recognition Award is given to bloggers by bloggers who appreciate the hard work, dedication and vast amount of hours we all put into each post, as well as keeping the website current and updated.

The Blogger Recognition Award Rules:

• Give a brief story of how your blog started
• Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers

Story of how my blog started

My story of a traveller begun way back 2009 in Singapore, It was the first time for me to travel out of my country, first time to ride a plane going to the big capital city of Manila.

First time being alone in another country longing for my family in the Philippines. I was in an On Job Training International opportunity for 6 long months, Alone, away from your family and close friends.

Despite of that wistful situation I got to know and build friendship with foreigner colleagues became friends with them, and indeed some Filipino colleagues too.

After that, the of Travelling around the world has come to my mind but didn’t really pursue it after my OJT. years after I migrated to Belgium with my fiancé (husband now) and begin my endearing dream to the other side of the world.

My first snow, then spring summer and autumn, first skating, winter clothes, winter boots, and a lot of first time in my life came.

From 2011 to 2016 me and my partner didn’t stop travelling, from Paris to Lisbon then Mallorca, from Corinth to Rome to Barcelona. We never stop conquering the European countries. I could say for about 10-15 travels (city trips) per year.

This year 2017 I’ve decided to give it a try for blogging so I started with WordPress and eventually build my blog site. And Voilà! I’m here.

Two pieces of advice to give to new bloggers:

• Work really hard and get some resources about your topic.

Working hard is the key to success, you need to give an absolute time to blog. It’s not just a passion that you want to do when you want. Blogging is much more of your obligation to yourself and to your audience. you cannot let them stay hanging on the road waiting for another train to pass by right? When you start to blog people will follow and like your work, they will stay late night to read your feeds, share their emotions when you’re feeling grievances whilst in your travels.

So work really hard! Resources is a must, visit some other blogs, look how they work.

It’s not that you are imitating them but on the other hand learning from their work, try to read their articles and see then execute on your own, apply it. You will definitely see the difference.

• Get yourself into bloggers community and share your work

Sharing is the easiest part as a lot of people say, but did you know its the most difficult for bloggers? do you know why ? If you’re alone in a river trying to learn how to catch a fish but no fish would come. This is why you need some co bloggers to push you and get your feet on track to boost your confidence. Well it doesn’t make sense about learning to catch a fish but in the sense of getting more methods and techniques then patience in the end.

My favourite part receiving this award is to get that precious power to nominate aspiring bloggers around the world. I have chosen some Filipino bloggers and other nationalities as well. I’m sure you’ll be delightful to see their fabulous blogs.

Did you know that a blog post would consume 5 hours to 24 hours to make a finish blog post? well its true a lot of time and effort from all blogger around the world.
