One of the most interesting hotels in Cebu, Philippines, has the best hotel deals so far as for this month of December. I have been already at this hotel 2 times this year and I could say it a worth staying.

It happened on my vacation last summer, the first stay was about a week with my family. 4 persons in one room that weren’t a super large but enough for 4 persons to accommodate.

Cebu R Hotel – Mabolo

Cebu R Hotel – Mabolo located not so far from the SM Cebu City, it has the advantage side. 7 kilometers away from the city’s airport, it took us 15 minutes to arrive at this place. My family along with me, it wasn’t difficult to get access to and to ask the taxi driver to find a short cut route to the hotel.
We arrived late in the afternoon since my plane landed 15h30 (3:30 pm) my parents and my brother waited at the exit and directly rode a taxi to the hotel. The place was definitely a calm one.

As we arrived, the guard automatically helps us out with our luggage and brought it inside the reception. The receptionist was kind to help us and gave us to key to our room.

The reception area was large enough to accommodate their clients, just a small hitch on the desk cause it’s on the left side wing of the entrance but liked how they presented it.

The Hallway was not so wide but enough for us to stroll our baggage around. The place was quiet and the cleanest I’ve seen. Knowing that it’s distance was only a kilometer away from the Center it’s a grand relief.

Our Room 

The room was a simple one, I don’t intend to get a luxurious hotel room for me or neither for my family. It was a 4-night stay for as low as 8,000 pesos (150 euros) it was a good deal I could say.

As for my solo stay, it was a one night stay for with the best hotel deals of 40 euros for a suite room, a sweet delight for myself to relax/unwind before my flight back to Europe.

The Suite Room is a non-smoking one with a dimension 25 m²/269 ft² not bad for one person. It has 1 king bed with a city view, and separate shower/bathtub.

The best part is I have a big space air-conditioned with a closet, a dressing room, and of course with clothes rack. I remember receiving a free bottled water and plus I have a tea and coffee maker and a fridge (mini bar).

I also did have a flat screen television in my room with Satellite cable channels. Let’s not forget the desk and table in the corner, a telephone, safety boxes, and last but not the list a good free WiFi connection.

In terms of Bathroom and Toiletries, I have everything what I needed. Hair dryer, toiletries, and towels.

The Restaurant

Who doesn’t love to eat traditional Filipino foods? well at the hotel you can have a free breakfast which included in your hotel stay. You’ll receive a menu what to choose for your breakfast it’s either with chorizo, scrambled eggs or fried Bangus fish with scrambled or sunny side up eggs.

The breakfast accompanied by a coffee or juice on your choice and one banana. 

For my opinion, the breakfast part was a bit short. Well for me it was enough but I don’t eat a lot in the morning but for other people, I guess it will be short.

A lovely memory for me with that server woman who assisted my family on our stay at the hotel’s restaurant. She was very kind and told us that water is free and we can actually refill our bottles.

Fitness Area

A bonus place for fitness lovers. The hotel has a Fitness space for their avid fitness lover clients. I was very curious to see how is it, since in Europe there are big “Salle de Sport” where some hotels offer.
